Mommies' Weekend at the Beach

Don't be fooled... WITH kids- NO Daddies! 3 Mommies, 4 kids (11 weeks- 3 1/2 yrs) and 3 dogs! It was WILD, to say the least! It was quite a sight to see us unload and load all the loot that goes along with a weekend at the beach (with no "man"power)! The weather was wonderful. We spent the whole day on the beach Saturday! The kids had a blast! Thanks Kat and Jenn. for a great weekend and some "girl time"!

Good Times

What a busy Easter weekend; time spent with family, friends and good food! It's times like these that reminds me of how truly blessed we are! Sunday's sermon says it best: Without God in our lives, we have nothing, and in him we have ALL we shall ever need!
Happy Easter!

Our weekend as followed:
Egg Hunt at school with friends.

Making Easter cookies and dying eggs. This was after a second trip to the grocery store because Jackson ate the entire container of sprinkles. Well actually Sutton caught him with a few to spare!

Mmm!

Worth waiting for!

The Easter bunny came with lots of goodies!

Ready for church!

Family Picture

The Cousins

The day ended with a few more egg hunts! Whew!

Thanks Big Papa for the help!

It's Official!

We went to the doctor yesterday and saw our sweet little jelly bean! Everything looks great, and the baby has a great heartbeat! The expected arrival date of the soon-to-be newest Webb is November 4th! We can't wait to meet this little one!

Yesterday, I was dropping Jackson off before going to our Dr. appt, and here was our conversation:

Me: "Jackson, Mommy's going to the doctor."

Jackson: "Why?"

Me: "Daddy and I are going to check on the baby."

Jackson: "Mommy, the baby sick?"

Me: "No, sweet heart, when Mommies have a baby in their tummy, they have go to the doctor a lot to watch the baby grow."

Jackson: "Oh!"

I can't wait to take him to an appointment to see the baby!

I Love Them!

Jackson (3 1/2) is all about "being big"! He is constantly reminding me of how big he is! (according to him, it is because of all the muscle food he eats)
He is loving school and seems to be having more "green days" and less "yellow and red" days! We are thankful for that!
He continues to blow me away with what he is learning in school. He can spell his name and is working on writing it, loves to play the opposite game, has an ear for rhyming words, and the latest... counting backwards from 10!
He is still happiest (and easiest to manage) when outside doing his thing! His most recent hobby outside is collecting the fuzzy caterpillars that seem to be everywhere right now! The sandbox and swing set continue to be top of the entertainment list!
He is on a "boys only" kick...thanks to Daddy!
  • riding in Daddy's truck, is for boys only!
  • yard work, is for boys only!
  • The Giving Tree (bedtime book), is for boys only!
    The list goes on!
***
Palmer (21 mths) is getting sassier by the day, but is such a lover! She is the first to "pucker up" to give anyone a kiss. She will sit in your lap and love on you forever!
She insists on a hairbow (maybe because without one, she can't see)! She seems to be getting more and more attached to her pappy (passi), and nothing makes her more mad then when Jackson comes by and snatches it out of her mouth, which happens quite often.
Her vocabulary is growing with leaps and bounds everyday! However, the "Go away!" is now few and far between.
She is all about naming the body parts; eyes, nose, mouth, ears (and earrings), hair, toes, belly button (especially hers being an outtie), etc.
Her favorite book right now is Goodnight Moon. She loves pointing out the "little mouse" (minny, minny, mouse as she would say) on every page.
She too loves being outside and enjoys holding Jackson's little fuzzy friends (the caterpillars).
She also enjoys school, especially "circle time" when they sing and pull out instruments. (Palmer, Palmer, Palmer's in the middle. Let me see you jump. Let me see you wiggle. Turn around. Now please sit down!)
Jackson and Palmer have become little people with such unique personalities!
I LOVE THEM!
