After saying our night prayer together, I was laying in bed with Jackson here is our conversation...
Laying my head on Jackson's chest, I said, "I can hear your heart beating."
He said, "Mommy lay down, I want to hear your heart."
Laying his head on my chest, "Mommy what is that?"
"That is my heart full of love!" I told him.
Silence for a moment...
Jackson: "Full of love from Jesus?"
I just love him!

It's Official...
Palmer is walking (at almost 19 months)! We have a world traveler on two not four! This afternoon she walked from our bedroom across the house to her room! So exciting! We are so proud of our little "toddler"! Life is about to get real interesting! I better dust my running shoes off!
On another note, Jackson has taken a liking to cruising the neighborhood streets on his "big boy" bike (with training wheels). How fun all these changes! We are so blessed to have such wonderful children! I thank God every day that we have with them!

Saturdays!
We had a great first week back at school. Jackson had probably the best week yet (knock on wood)! Palmer seems to be adjusting well... still no tears shed at drop off, and she is so excited to see me in the afternooon! (Words cannot describe the feeling I get when I see her face light up when I come through the door!) Now that I am working full time, I cherish the times when we're all together! Won't Saturdays be great? Woke up this morning and made an assortment of pancakes for breakfast (buttermilk, strawberry and apple cinnamon)! We've hung out at the house all day playing. We just finished a picnic in the backyard , the kids' new favorite place to be with the arrival of their swingset (Thanks Santa)! Palmer's sleeping and Jackson is having his "rest time" on the couch with a movie... this is his new big boy nap (and I still get some mommy time)! Got to go, the dryer beeped and I 've got laundry to fold!

We Will Survive!
Ok so we made it through our first day... a little crazy, but we survived! The gym this morning at 5:00 am was great (not sure why I have never tried palates.. what a wonderful way to start your morning)! Jackson did great getting dressed (usually a knock-down-drag-out). NO tears were shed from Palmer at drop-off! So far so good! However, all good things must come to an end... I find out, upon picking Jackson up, he visited timeout 3 times, and slept not a wink! Palmer on the other hand, had a wonderful day despite the fact she only slept 30 minutes (all day)! I guess it is going to take some adjusting for us all. I can only hope that each day gets a little better!

Work, Work, Work...
Ok so the day has come...tomorrow I will be starting my "new-all-day" work schedule in the world of 1st grade. It will definately be an adjustment for not only me , but the kiddos too! Both will be napping at school (Jackson on a mat)! Palmer will now be at "big" school with Jackson and me (excited about that). I have to run, I'm attempting the gym (5:00 am) as well! Still working on uploading pics- We're having some difficulty getting them from my camera to the computer. (I've done it a million times before so I'm not sure what is going on...even "MacGyver" Sutton can't figure it out! )
